We started HirePad because we lived the problem. As a small team trying to hire, we found ourselves juggling six different tools just to move one candidate through the pipeline. One app for the job board, another for email, a spreadsheet for tracking, a calendar tool for scheduling, a video app for interviews, and a shared doc for feedback.
Every tool worked fine on its own, but nothing talked to anything else. Context was scattered. Candidates fell through the cracks. And we spent more time managing our tools than actually recruiting.
